1. Who is responsible
willhappen is operated from France. For any privacy request, write to legal@willhappen.io. We answer within one month, as GDPR requires.
2. What we store, and why
If you claim a profile: your wallet address, your chosen nickname, an avatar seed, and timestamps. Basis: our contract with you — the profile is the product.
If you comment: the comment text, your address, and the market it belongs to. If you join a group: the group and your membership row.
If you enable social sessions: a random token, valid 30 days, minted by your own signature. It authorizes comments and profile edits, never funds.
If you register as a maker or ask about the data feed: the contact you typed (email or Telegram) and your note. Basis: you asked us to contact you.
If you arrive through a referral link: an eight-character code in a cookie for 30 days. At registration it links your address to the referrer’s, once. The cookie holds no identity — only the code.
3. What we deliberately do not collect
No tracking cookies. No advertising identifiers. No IP logs in our application database. Our usage counters store an event name, a day number, and a truncated hash of a path — they cannot name a person, by construction. Site analytics run on Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless.
4. The public tape
Wallet addresses, trades, and positions on Hyperliquid are public blockchain data. We record that tape and compute ratings from it. This processing serves a public, verifiable market record (legitimate interest). We cannot erase the chain — nobody can. What we can do on request: unlink your nickname from your address, delete your comments, and delete your contact details.
5. Where it lives, who else sees it
The application database lives on our server in Tokyo (AWS). The web app runs on Vercel; the site sits behind Cloudflare. These providers process traffic for us and store nothing about you beyond their own operational logs. We sell no data about identified users. The market data we publish and license is venue data, not user profiles.
6. Retention
Sessions expire after 30 days. The referral cookie expires after 30 days. Profiles, comments, and program registrations stay until you ask us to remove them. Inquiry contacts are deleted once the conversation ends.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask for access, correction, deletion, portability, and you can object to processing. Write to the address above. You can also complain to the CNIL. For anything tied to your wallet, we verify the request with a signature from that wallet — the same proof the rest of the product uses.
